Primary School News

Grade 3/4s have become scientists! To end our ‘States of Matter’ topic, we explored the change in states in relation to baking. We explored how the runny muffin mixture changes from a liquid to solid muffin once heated. This change is irreversible… and of course, delicious!

Today the Primary School students wore their comfiest PJs to school for the Primary Recharge Day. Classes explored themes of gratitude, kindness and mindfulness, encouraging students to take time to reflect, connect and care for themselves and others.

All the funds raised today will go towards giving our playground cubby houses a much-needed refresh, including:

🏠 A fresh coat of paint

🏠 Relocation to a new area of the playground

🏠 New play items and resources to enhance imaginative play

On Thursday 11th June, the 5/6 students visited the Immigration Museum Year 5/6 to enhance their learning about Australian history. Through the Many Stories program, they explored immigration experiences and discovered how migrants have contributed to Australia's diverse culture.

Some of our college students recently participated in the amazing Community Classic event provided by the Melbourne Mavericks and Bayside netball clubs!

Grace, Emma, Zoe, Ava, Violet, Delilah, Olivia and Eleanor played on court at John Cain Arena, competing in a number of matches. They also had the opportunity to be interviewed on the Melbourne Mavericks live stream, allowing them to talk about their netball dreams and future goals. What a fantastic experience for our students to play on such a big stage and create memories they’ll never forget! 

Our primary students were visited by some Western Bulldogs players!!!
