Year 1 & 2 Sound Circus Incursion

BANG! BANG! BANG!

On Friday 22nd May, the Year 1 and 2 students were excited to participate in the engaging and interactive Sound Circus Incursion. 

Throughout the session, students explored the fascinating world of sound through a range of hands-on activities and experiments.

Students learned all about how sound is created and how vibrations travel through different materials. One of the highlights of the incursion was discovering how sound can travel through string. Students worked together to create their own “cup phones” using cups and string and were amazed to hear voices clearly from the other end!

The incursion encouraged students to investigate, predict and explore while having lots of fun. There were many smiles and excited reactions as students experimented with different sounds and discovered how sound waves move.
