Principal's Address

As another remarkable academic year draws to a close, I find myself reflecting on the profound growth and achievements we've witnessed within our school community. Our journey, steeped in faith, strength and kindliness, and our theme for 2023 courage, has been one of continuous learning and wonderful experiences.

Throughout this year, our students have demonstrated enormous dedication to both their studies and their exploration of the young people they want to be; young people prepared to challenge the status quo and who have the courage to call out injustice. Their commitment to personal excellence, coupled with their compassionate spirits, has been inspiring. Their involvement in various community service initiatives reflects the essence and living embodiment of our Kildare Education Ministry values.

I would like to thank all teachers, administration staff, school support teams and maintenance staff whose tireless efforts have fostered an environment of intellectual curiosity and spiritual enrichment. Their dedication to their work, be that in a teaching or non-teaching role, ensured that compassion and courage were the cornerstones of our year.

I extend my deepest gratitude to our families for entrusting us with the education and care of your children. Your partnership and support have been invaluable.

As we look toward 2024, we reflect on our theme for 2024, hope, and pray that the courage we've garnered in 2023, be coupled with hope. Together, may these values pave the way for a new year abundant in unity, understanding, and shared blessings among all faiths and families.

For those who welcome the birth of Jesus, may you gather in gratitude for the gift of his love; to all others in our community I wish you also a time of great peace at Christmas and promise for the New Year.

I wish all families a restful and rejuvenating break and look forward to welcoming you back in 2024 for another enriching year filled with hopeful possibilities.
