Some of our school staff and students participated in Nedd’s “get comfortable being uncomfortable” campaign last year (Mrs Lucas!!!) and now NEDD is

 The Young Australian of the Year!! 

Congratulations Nedd!!

Nedd Brockmann is famous for his incredible 2022 run across Australia, from Perth to Sydney, setting a record as the fastest Australian to do so (46 days) while raising over $2.6 million for homelessness charity We Are Mobilise, and inspiring millions with his mantra "get comfortable being uncomfortable". He's an ultramarathon runner, motivational speaker, author, and the 2026 Young Australian of the Year, known for his relentless resilience, advocating for the homeless, and proving that massive goals are achievable
