Year 9 Visual Arts 

Gelli Printing

Year 9 Visual Art students have hit the ground running this year. They have been extending their skills with Gelli Printing techniques as part of their unit 'The Eyes Have It'. 

Students drew a simplified or abstracted eye using negative space, and then cut it out as a stencil. Using Gelli Plates and soy-based ink, students experimented with layering colours and different printing methods to display their designs. 

Can't wait to see what they create next!
