Fun & Interactive Games to help your children with their sight words.
Scavenger Hunt: Hide flashcards with words on them around the house and have the child find and read them.
"Go Fish": Use two sets of flashcards to play this classic card game, asking for words by name.
Word Fishing: Use magnetic letters and a wand to "fish" for words on a table.
The Floor is Lava: Write words on paper, tape them to the floor, and have kids jump on the word you call out before the "lava" gets them.
Bean Bag Toss: Tape words to buckets or on the floor; have them throw a bean bag onto the target word.
Here are some top lunch box ideas :
- Pinwheel Wraps: Use wholemeal wraps with fillings like hummus, shredded carrot, capsicum, cucumber, and baby spinach, then roll and slice.
- Sushi Rolls: Chicken and avocado, or tuna and cucumber.
- Frittatas & Quiches: Mini egg muffins or slices with zucchini, bacon, and cheddar.
