Welcome to the Middle Unit

This term, Grade 3/4 students have been learning to think like scientists, carrying out a range of exciting experiments to deepen their scientific understanding.

So far, we have learnt how to make butter using just a jar, some cream and plenty of shaking! We have explored thermal conductivity, investigated the melting points of different types of chocolate, and identified different types of forces.

With a couple more experiments still to come, we can’t wait to see what we discover next! It has been so much fun thinking like scientists, asking questions, making predictions, conducting experiments and working together as a team.
