Greatest Shave Fundraiser

World's Greatest Shave – Supporting Australians Living with Blood Cancer

As announced at our assembly, one of our teachers, Jared, will be taking part in the World's Greatest Shave in support of the Leukaemia Foundation. After many years of growing his long hair, Jared has decided it's time for a change—but he wanted to make that change count by raising funds for an incredibly important cause.

Every day, Australians are diagnosed with blood cancers such as leukaemia, lymphoma and myeloma. The Leukaemia Foundation provides vital support to individuals and families navigating these diagnoses while also investing in research that aims to improve treatments and, ultimately, find cures.

Throughout the term our Grade 6 Social Service Committee will be helping to promote the fundraiser across the school and keep our community updated on our fundraising progress. The big shave will take place during the term’s final assembly, where students and staff will have the opportunity to witness the transformation!

We would love the support of our wonderful school community. Every donation, no matter the size, will help provide practical support for families and contribute to life-saving blood cancer research.

If you are able to contribute, please visit Jared's World's Greatest Shave fundraising page via the link: https://www.worldsgreatestshave.com/fundraisers/jaredshaw/2026

Thank you for helping us make a positive difference. Together, we hope to raise as much as possible for this worthy cause.

The Social Service Committee.
