Athletics Day
Dear parents and guardians,
As you may know, we had our house athletics 2 weeks ago on the 1st of August at Proclamation Park in Ringwood.
Everyone had a great time, once they warmed up 😀, and participated fairly throughout the day!
It was close scoring in the end but ….. Ford won over all! 🎉. We thank the teachers and especially the parent volunteers for helping the day to run smoothly.
A HUGE thanks to Ms Chisholm for making this amazing day happen 🥰❤️!!
From your house captains, Heidi and Sophie
New Library Books
We have had some new books land in the library. Some more recent Anh Do - Weirdo, Bad Guys and Dragon Girls. If you think you have read them all, look for the next in the series.
House Athletics Carnival
Friday 1 August 2025
The weather forecast before the carnival did not look promising. On the actual day the skies were clear although it was 2 degrees before it warmed up and most of the day was spent in sunshine.
The students and staff arrived dressed up in their house colours and the atmosphere was positive and electric. Parents, grandparents, friends, ex-students all turned up to help, cheer and support.
MPS Staff, ex MPS high school students and our wonderful parents’ helpers were invaluable in making the whole day run smoothly and successfully. I cannot express my gratitude enough.
I was so impressed with the effort and enthusiasm of all students, staff and parents. Lots of students did their personal best. (PB).
I really enjoyed watching the participation of all students who although exhausted were still giving it their all.
A HUGE THANK YOU to everyone.
