From the Principal

Hello Gympie, East parents, carers and community,

Welcome back to another Term. It is great to see all the smiling faces of students as they return from holidays sharing stories and most importantly getting back into learning. We have had a really settled fortnight, which is absolutely terrific to see. 

Academically, our students have performed extremely well across Semester One. In English 89.4% of our students have achieved a C or better, while 55.3% of our students received an A or B. In Maths 89.9% of our students achieved a C or better while 58.7% achieved an A or B. We are continuing to refine and improve our teaching practices to ensure we provide the best learning possible for all of our students. 

Behaviourally, we have also noticed a significant reduction in behaviour since adopting our new behaviour processes at the beginning of 2025. 

Grandparent's/Special Person's Day

Please ensure all students start talking to their Grandparents or special people in their lives and invite them along to attend this fantastic annual event.
