This term, as part of their English unit, 1J are learning about writing simple procedures and giving clear instructions. What better way to practice giving and following instructions, than to make delicious fairy bread! At the beginning, Miss Jensen kept putting the tub of butter on top of the loaf of bread until 1J soon realised that their instructions weren’t very clear and they had to give more detail and use instructional verbs for it to be successful. We got there in the end and all enjoyed a laugh, some learning and a slice of fairy bread together. We’re looking forward to learning more about procedural writing as the term continues!
