MOUNT ERIN BOARDING SCHOOL (MEBS)
In September 2024 MEBS/ Mater Dei Boarders (MDCC '24) Harvey and Anthony made a quick visit to the Heritage Centre.
Harvey and Anthony were interested in making some comparisons between boarding school life “then and now”. Harvey is a member of the Depazzi rock band and had no idea that its origins were from our very own Mother de Pazzi Ansley, who was visionary in her planning and building of Mt Erin High School in 1938.
A great story - great connection.
Presentation Way
To celebrate Presentation Day and to mark the conclusion of the Presentation Sister's Sesquicentenary celebrations, the City of Wagga Wagga honoured the sisters today by unveiling a monument on what is now called 'Presentation Way' opposite Jubilee Park in Bourkelands. Over 90 Claret Ash trees have been planted on both sides of the road that the sisters travelled when they first arrived in Wagga Wagga 150 years ago.
