2024 Music Camps

In 2024 our Music Camps will be held at a new location, the Edmund Rice Centre Amberley, 7 Amberley Way, Lower Plenty.  The dates for each camp are:

Symphonic Band – 26 to 27 July (Sectional day at EHS is 17 July)

Training Band – 29 to 30 July 

Wind Ensemble – 30 to 31 July 

Concert Band – 31 July to 1 August 

Please complete and return the consent/dietary form and the medical form which were handed out to students at their rehearsals during the week starting 27 May 2024.  Please ensure the completed forms are returned by no later than Wednesday 19 June 2024.  A copy of both forms is on Compass in the Resources section of the weekly rehearsal and attached below.

Completed forms need to be returned before Wednesday 19 June 2024, via the Music Office or General Office.  Alternatively you can email completed forms to Jane Nicholson jane.nicholson@education.vic.gov.au   As this is an overnight camp we are required to have a completed hard copy of the medical and consent/dietary forms. Please ensure all forms are returned by 19 June even if there are no medical or dietary requirements.

2024 Instrumental Music Fees 

The 2024 Instrumental Music fees are currently being added to family accounts and you will soon receive a statement via email which will have the 2024 Music fees added. A copy of the 2024 Instrumental Music Program fees is attached.  Also attached is a credit card payment form.  

Please note that Music fees cannot be paid via Compass. 

Music fees are to be paid via your family statement. If you do not receive a family statement via email, please contact our Accounts Department on 9430 5118 or by email at 7805-Accounts@schools.vic.edu.au

The first instalment, which covers your Instrumental Music Lesson fee, is due for payment on the following dates for each ensemble

Please note for the Symphonic Band and VCE Music the first instalment is the Main Ensemble levy ($850.00), the second instalment is any other items that may be applicable, and the third instalment is the Instrumental Lesson fee.

Payment of the Music Fees can be made by completing and returning the credit card details on the attached form or by cash, BPay, credit card (over the phone by calling 9430 5118) or by cheque made payable to “Eltham High School”.  The music fees will appear on your family statement, not in the Compass Parent Portal.  

If you make a payment via BPay please ensure you email our Accounts Department at 7805-Accounts@schools.vic.edu.au advising that the funds paid are for music fees.  If you do not email, they may allocate the funds to other areas. If you do not know your BPay reference number please contact the school’s Revenue Administrator, Jacinta D’Avoine on 9430 5118 or by email at 7805-Accounts@schools.vic.edu.au

We encourage families to set up a weekly, fortnightly or monthly re-payment plan to pay the annual music fees with our Revenue Administrator, Jacinta D’Avoine on 9430 5118 or by email at 7805-Accounts@schools.vic.edu.au

The second instalment is for the Main Ensemble levy which is due for payment on the following dates for each ensemble:

The third instalment is for any other items that may be applicable i.e. instrument hire ($500.00), percussion equipment hire ($300.00), other ensembles - Stage Band ($500.00), Jazz Band ($500.00), Big Band ($250.00), Choir ($250.00 or if in a large ensemble $100.00).  

The third instalment is due for payment on the following dates for each ensemble:

Concert Band due for payment by 28 June 2024

Please note if you have a student in the Choir or Big Band, these fees have not yet been added to the family accounts.  As soon as they are added we will advise you.
