GRADE 1 POTATO OLYMPICS

Throughout our Ochre Math's measurement unit, the Grade 1 students have been competing in our Holy Rosary 2025 Potato Olympics. They created their countries potato athletes and threw, pushed, rolled and drowned their athletes to great heights. Students were guessing capacities, measuring lengths, timing their potatoes, and many more events to gain points for their country. The medal tally showed that Canda lead the Potato Olympics with 127 points throughout all events and followed narrowly by USA (126 points) and Japan (117 points) just behind. Our Grade 1 students and athletes showed Citius, Altius, Fortius skills in their measurement unit this term.

FOUNDATION, GRADE 1 & 2 DRUM INCURSION

On Tuesday the 13th of May the Foundation, Grade 1 & 2 students were treated to a wonderful African Drumming performance in Ted's Shed.

The children were amazed with the skill of drumming they saw and loved dancing and moving along to the beat. Some students were even brave enough to stand up the front and show everyone their freestyle dance moves! We were super impressed! A wonderful morning was had by all. Thanks so much to Mrs Teed for organising such a great experience.

FOUNDATION MOTHERS DAY CELEBRATION

Foundation celebrated Mother’s Day on Thursday with a special afternoon tea. The students potted a seed in a pot plant that they designed themselves to show their appreciation for the special women in their lives.
