F/1S students have been enjoying our first journey of letters and sounds with our Main Lesson, The Kings Quest!

They continued to learn and play a variety of maths games in Numeracy. But the real star of these past few weeks is all the connecting, crafting and constructing cubbies they have been doing :)

Introducing our teacher on Wednesdays 

Hi, my name is Leigh and I teach P.E mostly, but on Wednesdays I get to look after your wonderful children! 

Mirella has kindly allowed me to come up with some other ideas, besides teaching P.E in F/1S. The students and I had a chat and decided to do some writing and documenting with science experiments. Over the next few weeks, we will learn what a hypothesis is and how wonderful the world can be when we do experiments! We are going to have a go at making volcanoes and other concoctions.

Check out the pictures I have taken of the grade 1s spending some time outside making their names using natural materials. I hope you can see your child’s name!! 

I love being in the class and I am really looking forward to meeting the preps as they return to school on Wednesdays!!
