Middle School Courtyard Redevelopment

Our Middle School Courtyard transformation is almost complete and looks fantastic! We are just waiting for the seating to arrive and be installed over the coming weeks.

From Monday 16 March, the area will reopen and we will return to our regular school access points.

Student Entry and Exit Gates:

• Prep, Year 1 and Year 2: Haddington Crescent gate entry
• Year 3 - 6: Middle School Courtyard Gate (Year 2 students may also use this gate)
• All students: Drummond Street (staff car park) pedestrian entry
• Council Oval access will close from Monday – students should instead use the Drummond Street entry.

Older siblings are welcome to walk younger siblings to the junior area in the morning and meet them there in the afternoon.

Teachers will explain these arrangements to students, but we kindly ask parents to ensure their child knows where to meet you after school.

Parents are welcome to wait in the Middle Courtyard area in the afternoon, however please ensure that toddlers do not play on the grass or in the garden beds.  

Bike Storage

Students who ride their bikes to school are asked to continue to store them in the entrance courtyard as they are currently doing.

We ask students to ensure their bikes are placed neatly in the designated areas. For safety reasons, students should walk their bikes along the footpath in front of the school and when they enter the school grounds. They are to avoid the garden beds nearby at all times.

Morning Arrangements – “Drop and Go”

• Gates open 8:30 a.m. – 8:50 a.m.
• Staff will be on duty at all gates to assist students
• Parents are asked not to enter the school grounds in the morning
• Students should enter independently and walk directly to their classrooms

Afternoon Pick-Up

• Gates open by 3:10 p.m.
• Parents are welcome to wait in the entrance courtyard or school grounds
• Students are dismissed at 3:15 p.m. (Prep students at 3:12 p.m.)

As the end of the day is a very busy time, we kindly ask parents to keep all building exits and walkways clear so that students can leave the school safely.

A reminder that all play areas are not to be used after school. Toddlers are not permitted to play in sandpits and playgrounds.
