There are many changes happening within the NDIS. One currently happening is extra checks on claims for supports that were received more than 12 months ago. The NDIA may ask you for more information regarding claims for supports that fall outside this time frame. This 12-month window will then be reduced to 6 months over the coming months.

Topic: Ways to manage your NDIS plan

This presentation will cover:

  • The 3 NDIS funding management options and how they can be combined within a plan.
  • Learn the responsibilities, flexibility, and support available with each option.
  • Understand how funding management is considered during a plan meeting.

Topic: NDIS Working with providers

This presentation will cover:

  • How to find and choose NDIS providers that meet participants' needs
  • What a service agreement is and why it’s important
  • Participants’ rights and responsibilities when working with providers
  • What to do if issues arise with a provider or supports

Topic: NDIS Employment supports

This presentation will cover:

  • What types of employment supports the NDIS can fund
  • Who employment supports are for and when they might be appropriate
  • How employment supports can help with getting a job, staying in work, or developing workplace skills
