Father’s and Special Person’s Day Events Coming up

We will be hosting two Father’s Day events in the coming weeks: the Stall and the Breakfast.

The Father’s and Special Person’s Day Stall will be held on Friday, the 28th of August. Children will visit the stall with their classes throughout the day, to pick up something little for their special person. Please be sure to send your child(ren) with some money on the day so they can do some shopping. Items will be between $1 and $7.

The following Friday, the 4th of September, PIC will host a Father’s and Special Person’s Day Breakfast in the school hall. Details and ticketing will be announced next week.

For now, we are asking for help in making sure these events run smoothly. If you are able to help on either day, please complete the google form here.

Bunnings Sausage Sizzle Fundraiser Needs your help

St John’s has secured a spot to host a Bunnings Sausage Sizzle at the Preston Bunnings, on Sunday, the 13th of September. The last one we held there helped us generate more than $4,000 towards valuable resources for the school.

Megan (Prep & Gr3) and Alex (Gr1) have kindly put their hands up to lead this initiative but they need help on the day. Please complete this form here if you can help.

Trivia Night Tickets and Raffle Tickets on Sale Soon!

Get ready for a fantastic night of fun, laughter and community spirit! Tickets for the St John's Primary School Trivia Night 2026 and raffle tickets will go on sale from Tuesday 18 August.

Trivia Night

Tickets are limited and expected to sell fast, so don't miss out!

Trivia Night tickets are $35 per person, with $5 from every ticket sold donated to Breast Cancer Network Australia (BCNA).

Trivia Night is exclusively for St John's Primary School parents and carers, providing a wonderful opportunity to relax, have fun and connect with other families across our school community.

Raffle Tickets

Raffle tickets will also be available from Tuesday 18 August, giving families, friends and members of our wider community the opportunity to support our fundraising efforts while going into the draw to win some fantastic prizes.

Theme: A Touch of Pink

In support of BCNA, we invite all guests to wear a touch of pink on the night. Whether it is a pink accessory, a splash of colour or a full pink outfit, join in however you like as we come together to support this important cause.

A reminder that the Fundraiser Information Letter and BCNA Letter of Authority are available for anyone approaching businesses or community organisations for donations or sponsorships.

Second-hand Uniform Shop

The online uniform shop can be found online at the PIC Square Site. Stock is updated regularly as donations are received, so please check back often if you’re after a specific item. Orders are packed within a week of ordering, and you will receive a notification when it’s ready for pick up from the office. http://st-johns-pic.square.site
