Celebrating Our Volunteers - National Volunteer Week 💙

Dear Croydon Hills Primary School families,

As School Council President, I would like to take a moment during National Volunteer Week to sincerely thank the many parents, carers, grandparents and community members who generously give their time to support our school.

This year’s theme, “The Year to Volunteer,” is a wonderful reminder of the important role volunteering plays in strengthening our communities, and nowhere is that more evident than here at Croydon Hills Primary School.

Our volunteers help make our school the welcoming, vibrant and enriching environment that it is. Whether you’re supporting in the classroom, helping at the book fair, assisting on school camp, running Mother’s Day and Father’s Day stalls, or contributing your time and ideas through our Parents Association (CHAPS) and School Council, your involvement makes a real and lasting difference to our students and our broader school community.

We are incredibly grateful for your generosity, enthusiasm and willingness to get involved. It is through this shared commitment that we build such a strong sense of connection and belonging at our school.

For those who may not yet have had the opportunity, this really is the year to volunteer. There are so many ways to get involved; whether it’s a regular commitment or a one-off activity; and every contribution, big or small, is valued.

Volunteering is not only a great way to support your child’s learning and experiences, but also a meaningful way to connect with other families and be part of our school community.

Thank you again to all our volunteers - your contribution does not go unnoticed, and we are truly grateful.

Warm regards,

Jessica Kaaden

School Council President
