National Reconciliation Week

7th May - 3 June Reconciliation Week 2026 at St Finbar's

The theme for National Reconciliation Week 2026 is All In, a call for every Australian to commit wholeheartedly to reconciliation, every single day. All In reminds us that reconciliation is not a spectator sport and that all of us must step away from the sidelines and take action to make change. At St Finbar's we had a busy week reflecting through scheduled events which included Dreamtime movie screening, bracelet making, scratch art, colouring club, storytelling in the library, an amazing assembly with 5L presenting and the choir singing and completing the week with activities and learning in the classrooms.

This year we supported Children's Ground and wore it yellow. The school community raised over $300 to donate to Indigenous kids in need.
