Grade 5/6 Winter Sports Day

Our Grade 5/6 students will be participating in the Winter Sports Day. Please note that the date is yet to be confirmed. This is a great opportunity for students to represent our school and enjoy friendly competition with students from other schools.

Students should come to school in their normal school uniform and bring any required sporting equipment, a drink bottle and lunch for the day.

• Football: Tatura Football Oval
• Soccer: Tatura Soccer Grounds

• Netball: Tatura Netball Courts

   

Event Schedule

• 11:30am: Schools arrive and move to playing areas
• 11:35am: Welcome, housekeeping, and team allocation
• 11:45am: Matches begin
• 1:00pm: Lunch break and BBQ at the oval
• 1:30pm: Games resume
• 2:00pm: Matches conclude and students return to TPS
• 2:05pm: Thank yous and raffle prize presentations
• 2:15pm: Schools depart

Jump Rope for Heart

Over the coming weeks, students will be participating in Jump Rope for Heart activities during Physical Education lessons. The focus is on having fun, being active, and developing skipping skills while promoting healthy lifestyles.

Participation in fundraising is completely optional. Families who wish to make a donation to support the Heart Foundation can do so via QKR.

Our Jump Off Day will be held on Friday 26th June and will run during the morning session from 9:30am–11:00am. Students are encouraged to wear appropriate footwear and bring a drink bottle to stay hydrated throughout the event.
