Level Crossing Removal Update
August Works Overview
Dear Families, Students and Staff,
The Level Crossing Project is fully underway and will be impacting journeys around the college for at least the next twelve months.
Many families appear to be successfully navigating the need to add more time to their journeys, a huge ‘Thank You’ to you for ensuring your children get safely to school on time.
Also, a big ‘Well Done’ to the students who recognise that if they use public transport, then they need to purposefully catch earlier buses and trains so that they can arrive to school on time.
This email is to notify you about changes to train services on the Frankston and Stony Point lines from 18/08/2025 until mid-2026; for community members who use public transport, please take note of the important information this email contains.
As always, I will add pertinent information to the Mordialloc College Website and continue to send out information that may significantly impact members of the community via Compass.
Kind regards,
Rachael Stone
Principal

Dear Mordialloc College Community,
Please note the information below received from the Level Crossing Project today.
The information provided details disruptions to public transport over the coming months. Please build this into your travel to and from the College.
I fully recognise the fact that adapting to the need to allow extra time for travels can bring its own pains! However, we have had a few days where many students
have arrived extremely late into Lesson 1; moving forward I hope that this can be resolved, especially before the VCE examination period begins in earnest
from Term 4.
To access other information that has been received from the Level Crossing Project, please go to our website https://mcsc.vic.edu.au/,
and scroll down to Level Crossing Removal Work Notifications.
Kind regards,
Rachael Stone
