School Council

The Ringwood North Primary School Council is a vibrant mix of teachers and parents, committed to working together to improve student learning outcomes, foster the development of teaching and support staff, and promote parent and community engagement.

Council recently held its third meeting for the year and I apologise that this message has not been sent sooner, allowing me to introduce yourself to the School Council members for 2024.

Having served on School Council last year, it is my privilege to have been elected as your School Council President for 2024. On behalf of Council, I would like to thank our previous President and past parent, Jacqueline Ferguson who served for 3 years in the role.

I also wish to extend a warm welcome to our new School Council members, in Andrew Willis, Kathleen Mendan & Michael Stagg.  They join the following standing School Council parent members: Scott Nixon (President), Elspeth De Fanti (Vice President), Karina Stocker (Treasurer), Jess Orr, Mailin Dando, Libby Davis and Trevor Joyce.

Our school department representatives are: Ken Chatterton (Executive Officer), Shannon Tibballs (Secretary), Ricarda Lillis, Nick Burley and Jack O'Brien.

The willingness of parents to participate in the governance of the School results in a partnership that is respectful and reflective of its members. Council welcomes your questions, contributions and congratulations, and invites you to make contact either via email scott.nixon@education.vic.gov.au or in person.

I look forward to seeing you around the school yard.

Kind regards,

Scott Nixon.
