Division Cross Country

This week we were lucky enough to have 11 amazing RNPS students competing in Division Cross Country.  These students had all placed within the top 10 at District Cross Country a few weeks ago and were now on to the next stage, competing against the fastest in Maroondah and Manningham. Congratulations to the following students for showing excellent sportsmanship, effort and determination to do their best:

-Aasha & Carter from Grade 6

-Chloe, Emma, Cleo, Patch & Zoe from Grade 5

-Marius, Boston, Tilly & Alessia from Grade 4

A wonderful effort by all and a special congratulations for Marius and Emma for making it through to Region next week, coming in with an outstanding 5th and 11th place.

RNPS VHAP Masterclass

The Victorian High Ability Program students had the opportunity to attend a Masterclass at Heathmont East Primary School.  The students participated in maths and literacy activities that allowed them to collaborate with their peers to build their content knowledge. 

The students demonstrated their active engagement by successfully deciphering various cyphers and codes.  It was a delight to witness them sharing their knowledge and working in harmony with the HEPS students. 

Some feedback from the students about the day included:

Isla - It was a great day and we had fun!

Sophia - The HEPS students were really kind and made us feel welcome.

Charlie - We had fun learning lots of new things.
