Month of the Rosary

October is a special time in our Catholic tradition as we honour Mary, the Mother of Jesus, through the prayer of the Rosary.

Throughout the month, classes have taken time to pray together, reflect on the mysteries of the Rosary and grow in their understanding of Mary’s role in our faith. As part of our Marian celebrations, the whole school will come together to pray the Rosary on Monday 26 October at 9:00am in the Church.

Hail Mary

Hail Mary, full of grace,

The Lord is with thee.

Blessed art thou among women,

And blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.

Holy Mary, Mother of God,

Pray for us sinners,

Now and at the hour of our death.

Amen.

2028 Eucharist28 Student Ambassadors

We are delighted to announce the two Year 4 students, Caitlin and Joshua who will proudly represent St Anthony's as our student ambassadors for Eucharist28, the International Eucharistic Congress to be held in Sydney in 2028.

These students have shown exceptional leadership, kindness and a deep commitment to living out our Catholic values. As ambassadors, they will help our school prepare for this worldwide celebration of faith, prayer, and community.

Their role will include:

  • Leading prayer and liturgical celebrations
  • Encouraging faith activities across the school
  • Representing St Anthony's at special Eucharist28 events
  • Sharing news and helping our community stay connected
  • Modelling Catholic values in all they do

Eucharist28 will take place when these students are in Year 6, giving them a wonderful opportunity to grow as leaders of faith, service and community. We congratulate our ambassadors and look forward to the joy, leadership and spirit they will bring to this important journey.

Walk With Christ 2026

Walk with Christ will take place through the streets of Sydney. Participants will join thousands of Catholics in a public witness of faith, celebrating and honouring Christ's presence in the Eucharist. This year, our school will have a special presence at the event as part of the journey towards Eucharist28. We keep all those attending in our prayers as they represent our school community at this significant Archdiocesan celebration.

We warmly invite students, families and parishioners to join us at Walk with Christ on Sunday 22 November. The event includes a festival beginning at 1:00pm in Martin Place, followed by the Eucharistic Procession commencing at 2:30pm.

If you are interested in attending with our school community, please contact Ms Laura (FE) via the school office for further information.

"Walk with Christ is an opportunity to publicly proclaim our faith and honour the Real Presence of Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament."

Safeguarding in Our Parish and School Community

We remind all families that safeguarding is a shared responsibility. To ensure the safety and wellbeing of every child, parents and carers must accompany their children to the toilet during Mass and all parish events. This simple step helps us maintain a safe, respectful and caring environment for everyone in our community.

Thank you for your ongoing support in keeping our parish a place where children feel protected, valued and secure.
