Attendance Competition
Day 1 of our Gnarly Neighbours Sessions - Tuesday 8 September
All of the F-2 classes were lucky enough to win a free session with Gnarly Neighbours after placing in the Top 10 for attendance from Weeks 5–8!
Brad and some of our senior students involved in the Gnarly Neighbours mentoring program came along to teach us how to feel safe and confident on a skateboard. We learnt about the Gnarly Neighbours program, practised different stances and even had a go at some tricks with funny animal names!
Everyone had an amazing time and was beaming with excitement, joy and pride. It was wonderful to see students overcome their fears and doubts, try something new and feel a real sense of achievement. Well done, F-2 students.
Day 2 of our Gnarly Neighbours Sessions - Wednesday 9 September
Seymour College held an attendance competition throughout Term 3. The highest attended classes won the opportunity to take part in a skateboarding lesson with Gnarly Neighbours. All of the Years 3 and 4 classes were lucky enough to win a free session with Gnarly Neighbours after placing in the Top 10 for attendance from Weeks 5–8!
