Blessing and Celebration of Our New Playground

On Thursday, we came together as a school community for the blessing and celebration of our beautiful new playground. It was a very special afternoon and a wonderful opportunity to celebrate this exciting addition to Sacred Heart.

A big thank you to our wonderful School Captains and RE Captains, who led us so beautifully through our liturgy, to Fr Martin for joining us and blessing our new playground, and to our school choir, who added to the celebration with their beautiful singing. We are also very grateful to our special guests who joined us and for the important roles they played in helping bring our new playground to life.

Thank you also to our wonderful P&F for organising the sausage sizzle, and to everyone who baked, donated and contributed to our bake sale. Your generosity and support helped make the afternoon such a lovely community celebration.

It was wonderful to see students, staff, families and special guests gathered together to celebrate a space that will bring so much play, connection and joy to our students for many years to come. ❤️
