RIPS
A rip is a strong current of water that moves away from the shore. Rips are dangerous.
It is important to know what a rip looks like to help keep yourself safe at the beach. Here are some videos about rips:
Inland waterways - rivers, creeks, lakes and dams are great fun! But it’s important to remember they have many hidden dangers, like rocks and logs hiding under the water, and strong currents. Always enter the water slowly, feet first.
