Meet Grace

 Hello, my name is Grace. I have been supporting and encouraging while educating children for 4 years in early childhood sector. Before that I was working in Out of School Hours Care for 5 years supporting a variety of school age group children, both within school and in out of school hour care. I encourage each to be open minded, artistic, inventive and kind hearted individuals who will become confident within themselves as they continuously progress in their independent and social skills. As part of the child learning journey, my aim is to form relationships, enrich their knowledge and contribute to a better future.

Meet Alana

Hey! 

My name is Alana and I am 21 years old. I completed my Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care in 2019 and I have had experience working with children of all ages. In my spare time I love to read, play sport, travel and spend time outdoors. I am looking forward to getting to know all of you 😊 

Meet Lena

Hi! My name is Lena I am 22 years old and I live in Emerald. I have been working in early childhood education for four years. I live with my dad and step mum and my two dogs! When I’m at home you can often find me cooking all different kinds of foods! During the summer time I’m up at Monbulk Cricket Club cooking meals for all the members and guests, my dad and I have been doing this for sixteen years and we couldn’t imagine life without it. I look forward getting to know you all and look forward to taking care of your children and making strong connections with them!

Meet Bethany 

Hi I'm Bethany,

I'm currently studying my diploma of Childhood Education and Care. I can't wait to get to know everyone! 

I love to explore different creative things and try new and interesting ideas, whether in the garden, the kitchen or the art space 

It's so lovely to work somewhere close to home. I get to spend so much more time with my dog! 

Meet Trish

Hello I'm Patricia (Trish) and have recently completed my Cert 3 in early childhood education and care. I have loved my time at Haven so far, getting to know the children and families. I love watching children learn new skills and I feel it's so rewarding to be a part of their ongoing development, including helping them with mindfulness techniques, rhythm and dance and yoga poses! I look forward to supporting all children and families at Haven ELC.  

Meet Tejal 

Dear, families 

For those of you who don’t know me or have seen my face around and I haven’t gotten the chance to introduce myself, my name is Tejal. 

In my previous job I worked with St . Simon OSHC Care so some of you may already know me. My experience and training has provided me with a couple of strong skills while working with children. I know what it takes to be a child care provider as a mum of three daughters.

My 8 years of experience in this field has taught me the most intricate details of the work, allowing me to maintain awareness of each child’s emotional, physical and spiritual needs. The ability to get along well with children and create a fun and safe environment. The knowledge to recognise and solve issues when they first occur to prevent them from escalating. Over the years, I have acquired lots of patience and compassion for children of all ages. I am looking forward to working with Haven Childcare and looking after your children.
