School Swimming Trials

On Tuesday this week, Years 3 to 6 took part in the school swimming trials to compete in the Dendy District Swimming Carnival. All the students walked down to Harold Holt Swimming Centre and swam in all the strokes they wanted to. We all had a great day swimming out in the sunshine and everyone tried their very best.

Class Sport Equipment 

Each class has an equipment captain. The captain will change halfway through the term. This will be organised in P.E sessions with Mrs Davies. Your role is really important!!! You need to: 

• Collect the class allocated bag at the start of each play. 
• Return the class allocated bag at the end of each play. 
• Make sure all the sports equipment has been returned to the bag. 
• School sports captains will meet you at the equipment bins outside the P.E shed each play; we are Emily, Gianluca, Dylan, Sophie, Monique, Gabriella, Mila and Charlie. 
• Class prizes will be given out to the most responsible grades taking care of their equipment.

We also welcome Mrs  Davies and our brand new sports awards which will be handed out at assemblies on Fridays. 

The Class Sport Bags

This year is different to all the other years because we have our own sports bags! And these are the rules you have to follow.

• The class sports bags are ALWAYS stored in big storage boxes (near P.E shed.)
• Class sports bags have to be collected at the beginning of play.
• Class sports bags have to be returned at the end of play.
• This is the job of the class equipment captain ONLY.
• Make sure ALL equipment is in the bags.
• School sports captains are there to help
