Get ready for an exciting literacy extravaganza as Book Week approaches next week!
On Wednesday 23rd August, the school will be buzzing with enthusiasm as students, teachers, and staff show off their costumes for the parade in the Gym at 9:15 AM. It's the perfect opportunity to showcase our favorite literary characters, and we encourage parents and students alike to start brainstorming and preparing their fantastic costumes.
This year Book Week is August 19th to August 25th with the theme, ‘Read, Grow, Inspire’.
Indonesian Day will on Friday 25th August. A day to celebrate the unique culture of our closest neighbouring country! On this day, students are welcome to dress up in traditional Indonesian clothes, or red and white to symbolise the colours of the national flag.
Our Parents and Friends Committee will be running this years Fathers Day Stall on Monday 28th August.
For those who are unable to attend, or have forgotten their money, there will be a second chance day on Tuesday 29th August.
Any parent volunteers able to help out on the day would be greatly appreciated. If you are able to help, please contact the office to let us know.
The Monash Teddy Bear Hospital is coming to visit the grades1 & 2’s on Friday 8th September 9.00-10.50am.
