The first years have started with a nervous but at the same time excited attitude. First project was “Practice Joints” followed by the “Pizza Peel”. The first years will finish of the term with drawing their next project which is “The Bread Cutting Board”. The second years had a lot of confidence walking into class, they all started with reviewing safety when handling power tools, they all the commenced working on the first task which is the “Saw Stool”. This year was the first year I have had VCALs commence the subject. They were all excited when I told them that they had to work on various projects around the school, such as framing a wall in P5, Setting up a wall in the Hall, and now taking on the Les Mis stage production( Please see photos). It's going to be an exciting year in Technology especially Furnishings and cannot wait to see some more finished projects around the school.
