LIBRARY

Library NEWS

The Library has continued to be a place of great activity.  As the weather is cooling, the Library provides an inviting environment for students at lunchtime.

As the year progresses and classes are working through CATS and SACS, we are seeing the Library class areas and resources well used during the day.

Our Year 7 students are well into the Premiers’ Reading Challenge and Lilydale High School Reading Challenge and have been regular visitors to the Library.

Years 8 to 10 SEAL classes have also joined our reading challenges and have already read 1000 books between them.

So far our collective total of books read this year is 3,80579 students (60 Year 7s and 19 Year 8 to 10s) have already achieved the Premiers’ Reading Challenge by reading 15+ books.   A further 43 students have achieved the Lilydale High School Reading Challenge by reading 10+ books.  This is a great effort so far this year.

All students from Years 8 to 12 are invited to participate in the reading challenges.  Students can register at the Library.
