Cooper and his Touch Trial Team

Cooper Marheine represented our school at the Diocesan Touch Trials on the 1st of April in Tamworth. Only 10 boys were chosen to represent the Armidale Diocese at the Polding Trials in Port Macquarie this Term. Unfortunately, Cooper missed out this time but I am sure he learned new skills and will be keen to have another go next year. Well done on your outstanding display of sportsmanship and dedication to sport Cooper!

Cross Country - Tomorrow!

Our annual school cross country event will be held tomorrow at the Quirindi Race Course. Children will be picked up from school at 10:30am.  Please ensure your child has returned his/her permission note #2 for this event.  Overdue notes have gone home today and must be returned for your child to attend tomorrow.

BBQ lunch

Our wonderful PT&F committee will be providing a bbq lunch for our cross country day tomorrow: Sausage sandwich, steak sandwich, beef and gravy rolls.  The cost of lunch and drink for students is covered in the $6 that needs to be paid via Qkr. If adults would like to purchase lunch, the cost will be $5 each payable on the day.

Tennis:  Term 2 2021.  We are excited to announce that Mitch Power will once again be providing tennis skills to our children this term.  The cost of the tennis sessions has been covered by our Sporting Schools Grant application.  Tennis  will happen between 12:30pm and 2:00pm on Wednesdays beginning in Week 2.  Students will attend sessions here at school in the following groups:   K-2, 3/4, 5/6. All equipment will be provided.
