Missing School Books
We have been doing an audit of take-home books and discovered that we have over 300 books missing. We understand that over recent years we have been in and out of school. So we would greatly appreciate if you could hunt around to see if you have any QoP books at home and kindly return them to the classroom teacher or office. An example of a back cover is shown below.

Parents & Friends Association: Mother's Day Stall
The Parents & Friends Association is holding the annual Mother’s Day Stall on Wednesday 4 May. The stall gives every child a chance of buying that special gift for Mum, Grandma or other significant Mother figure.
There is a great variety of gifts again this year, with prices ranging from $1 to $8. Some examples of gifts are: key rings, mugs, aprons, hand cream, gardening tools and lanyards. Gift bags and cards will be sold as a package costing $1 for both. There will also be hand-made cards for an extra $1.
Please note we are requesting a $20 limit spend per child.
Please don’t forget to send money in an envelope (with your child’s name on it) on the day. There is no need to hand this in to the office prior to school, students can hand to their teacher for safe-keeping until it is their class' time to attend the stall that day.
P&F are also looking for volunteers, whether it’s Mum or Dad, Grandparents or just a friend of the school, to come and help at the stall and assist our kids in making, “The perfect choice for Mum!”. Please volunteer via the Operoo note.

First Prize: Queen of Peace Primary School
Second Prize: Bayside College
Third Prize: Williamstown Primary School.
Our school received $200 worth of art supplies from Artelier Art.
Queen of Peace Welcome Banner
A huge big thank you to all the families who contributed their small square which contained a whole lot of love, displaying how they welcome family and friends into their homes. The banner will be on display in the church. So lovely for the children to share how they welcome people into their lives.

Uniform Shop
On Thursdays our Uniform Shop Manager, Leanne MacGibbon fills orders and sends home the items with students. You may wish to place an order for winter uniform in preparation for the cooler weather ahead. For returns or exchanges (within three months) items must be unworn and tag still attached. Orders should be placed online via quickcliq.com.au.
As a general guide, we ask that the summer uniform be worn during terms 1 & 4, winter uniform during term 2 & 3. However, we strongly suggest to parents that they have the children wear the uniform most comfortable for any particular day so students may wear summer or winter uniform regardless of the school term.
