Jiu Jitsu Classes

Are you interested in trying Jiu Jitsu?
I am Chris Crusinski, originally from Brazil.  I  graduated in business administration . I am a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu fighter and  have coached for 18 years at Cia Paulista Brazil Jiu Jitsu and in 2014 I graduated to Black Belt by the head coach of CPBJJ, master Eduardo Leitao 5th Degree.
I came to Australia  to continue training and teaching in the soft Art of BJJ in Cia Palista Australia. Due to the fact I had conquered Gold International Medal Status in Europe, Brazil and Australia I was granted a Permanent Residence Visa and completed my 2nd Degree in my belt here in Australia in 2020.
At QOP I would like to introduce the "School  Fight Project”, as its central objective : to provide students with extracurricular activity with Brazilian Jiu Jitsu nowadays considered the best in the world. Brazilian Jiu Jitsu helps with focus, displicine , teamwork, self-control and confidence whilst keeping them fit and healthy.
If you are interested in enrolling, please contact me ccrusinski@gmail.com.
I look forward to training with you.
Regards,
Christiano Crusinski

Indoor Climbing at Climb West

Emmanuel College

It has been fantastic to get through to the end of Term 1 with no COVID lockdowns. It has been amazing to see how adaptable our young people have been in managing their time and performance around isolation requirements.  We have managed to enjoy some great activities with a highlight being the recent Project Based Learning (PBL) parent night. We had many Year 7 parents onsite who enjoyed seeing their children’s collaborative and negotiated work samples. They also had the chance to view the Year 9 work with their children and see the work that they can aspire to achieve.

The G.I.R.L. Crew has again had remarkable uptake, check out the cool kids in their G.I.R.L. Crew t-shirts. From what started as a handful of primary school girls coming to do dance, we now have more than 30 girls from 4 feeder schools participating in dance and art classes. Look out early next term for registration details for next term’s activities, these activities are based on what the girls would like to do.

In addition, we are commencing the Melissa Barbieri Soccer Academy for girls in Grades 4, 5 & 6 next term.  Please see the flyer for details, registrations are essential.
