Holy Week Celebrations
It was great to see the Prep children celebrating Holy Week as a school community for the first time.
100 Steps of Federation
We were very lucky to once again celebrate Holy Week with our traditional walk to the 100 Steps of Federation, on Friday 8 April.
Our journey re-enacted the events of Palm Sunday, Holy Thursday, Good Friday and the Resurrection. Parents, grandparents and members of the parish also joined our walk.
Many children dressed up to help with the celebration of Holy Week from the time of Jesus. The day was a huge success. We were also blessed with amazing weather for the event. Thank you to everyone that helped to make this a wonderful day.
Mother's Day
To celebrate the special women in our lives, Queen Of Peace is celebrating Mother’s Day with a whole school mass on Friday 6 May at 9:15am.
Following mass, Mini Vinnies invite all parishioners to a morning tea in the hall foyer. We request a gold coin donation to support women with breast cancer and there will be prizes to win. Look forward to seeing you all.
