Student Leadership Team (SRC)

Our 2022 Student Leadership Team (SRC) have met at their scheduled meeting time on Thursday during lunch for the last few weeks. Their first activity for the year was providing a BBQ at the swimming carnival last Friday. 

Staff and students were appreciative of the efforts made by students who volunteered their time to ensure this ran smoothly and everyone had an option for lunch.

Roles have been decided within the team and are:

Chairperson: Hannah Southwell

Secretary: Abbie Grant. 

Treasurer: Stephanie Piper.

The Student Leadership Team members are: Peter Bromham, Grace Crawford, Beau Taylor, Amelia Brown, Tesi Roberts, Kayla Apps, Veronica Bromham, Josh Jones, Brock Riles, Matilda Cox, Harry Peacock, Noah Bush, Blayde Trotter , Imogen Pye, Stephanie Piper, Felix Crozier, Hannah Southwell, Abbie Grant, Madisson Penrose, Mylee Taylor, Dea Hirsch, Angel Gorman-McKnight and Lily Diskon.

It was also pleasing to see student leaders taking the initiative by either running the assembly or being involved in the behaviour lesson delivered to students and staff. The behaviour lesson focussed on what procedures are and how they can lead to routine.

The Student Leadership Team (SRC) intends to become more actively involved in leading other students in programs and initiatives across the school.

We are looking forward to hearing more from the Student Leadership Team throughout the term.
