Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden

Boorowa Central School is fortunate to have our new food technology teacher Mrs Golden deliver the Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden program to students K-6. The program has been implemented for a number of years and was originally inspired by famous Australian chef Maggie Beer.

It has been a successful start to the term with all primary groups working in the kitchens to produce spinach and cheese triangles.  The recipes throughout the year will be chosen to link to the food growing in the Stephanie Alexander Garden with some special recipe thrown in for fun. All students engaged well with each other and followed classroom expectations. This allowed everyone to produce some delicious treats. Well done to all the little chefs at Boorowa Central School.
