Cute Chicks to Cuddle

Chicks

Aryon, in Kindergarten, has a lovely big sister called Jade who has made lots of people at school very happy! Jade kindly donated thirteen baby chicks of many different varieties to the school. 

They are currently being kept snug and safe in the Dragonflies room. They have been very popular as you can see from the photos!

External Validation

External Validation is a process where schools self-assess their improvement efforts using evidence to support their reflections and an external validation panel considers the schools evidence. Areas covered include Teaching, Learning and Leading. Larnook PS will be participating in this during August. It will not affect our usual school routines.

Swimming

Just a reminder that Intensive Swimming Lessons are coming up this term in the heated pool at Goonellabah Sports and Aquatic Centre (GSAC). They start on Monday, 31st May and will involve two sessions per day. A note will come out soon with more details. Cost will be $40.
