Out and About....
Students finish for the year on Friday 6th December. There will be a liturgy at 12.00pm, with final dismissal at 1.00pm. The 2020 school year commences for students on Friday 31st January. It is school photos day, so girls need to have the correct summer uniform, including the blazer. As this is the final newsletter for the year, I would like to wish all students and families a blessed Christmas and wonderful New Year season. Stay safe and we will see you all again, happy and healthy, in 2020.
Best wishes for the coming week.

Book Lists Available Online
This year we are being more environmental with regards to our booklist distribution. All booklists are now available online at Campion website. Visit https://www.campion.com.au/ and order using the code MG5R. There will be no paper book lists distributed but we continue to offer the service of a pickup day - 17 January 2020 - at the school. You will be asked to create an account with Campion if you have not already. Parents also still have the option to pay for their orders by credit card or cash on collection. Girls will find a copy of the book lists in their year level areas identifying which books can be bought or sold secondhand and the suggested prices.
Secondhand books can be purchased through the Sustainable School Shop

Reunions at Killester
There were two Reunions held in November by our Killester Alumni Community.
The Class of 1969 celebrated their milestone 50th Reunion with the ladies enjoying a lovely catch up and hearing of one another’s experiences over the years since they left Killester. Thank you goes to Mary Davies and Miriam Beus for their organisation of the event which was capped off with a toast of sparkling wine to celebrate the occasion.
The Class of 2009 celebrated their 10 year Reunion here at Killester College. The ladies had a enjoyable afternoon, some seeing each other for the first time since they left school. They were given a tour of the school and were able to see all the changes that have happened since 2009. Past teachers of the students were also in attendance and they loved finding out what their students are up to now. Thanks Vi Tang for organising the event.
