VTAC

VTAC opened on Monday 6 August, so Year 12 students can log on to the VTAC website and create an account. Once students have created an account and registered they can put in their course selections, apply for SEAS and Scholarships. If students have any problems they can come and see Ms Carter or Mrs Whitty.

Course Counselling

Some Year 12 students still need to make an appointment to see either Ms Carter or Mrs Whitty for course counselling.

You can do this through Compass.

Click on the star icon, then click on Year 12 Career Bookings. Students can then click on the Book an Appointment tab and choose a time and date that suits.

All Year 12 students need to have had an appointment with the Careers Team before the end of Term 3.

Students interested in studying medicine

Year 12 students interested in studying Medicine next year should consider attending a two-hour Multiple Mini Interview Workshop we are running on the Wednesday 17 October, from 1pm - 3pm.

The workshop will assist students with what's involved in the interview process and understand and experience the skills needed to succeed in the interviews. This workshop will help students formulate a winning answer.

The workshop will be run by James Lynch who attended the Year 12 camp earlier this year. Students who are interested should email Ms Carter. The cost for the workshop is $25.00.

Contact the JMSS Careers Team

Student with any questions about careers or future pathways can email the careers team, or visit them on the ground floor, near the stairs under Flannery House.
