A huge thank you to the PNF members who helped cook a lunch for our Confirmation candidates, Catechist candidates and Bishop Tony last Friday.

Tuesday 16th August

we are holding the PNF meeting in the community room at 6pm.

All parents are welcome to attend.

A great way to help with planning, events and talk about your new ideas and thoughts on future events

We would love to see as many new faces as possible

Keep collecting those empty bread bags

Any brand is accepted

Place them into your house colour boxes in the corridor.

The more bags we can collect the more sport’s equipment our school will receive.

We would like to give Dads a really yummy breakfast, so we need as many helpers as possible to help cook in the morning.

The more hands make light work so please come and help us!!

If you can help, can you please contact Courtney on sfspfa@sfslynbrook.catholic.edu.au

A friendly reminder WWCC is required.

Once again, we will be calling for Donations for our Annual Father’s Day Raffle – so if you have a small business and would like some FREE advertising, please feel free to donate as we will advertise your business till the end of Term, all donations can be left at the office.

It would be amazing if every family could donate a small item so that our Special Fathers can take home an amazing prize, we would appreciate any items that are brand new.

Socks, chocolates, mugs or even wine are always a great idea!

Chips and popcorn are being sold each Friday at first lunch for 50c

Please Note: you must answer the questions to be accepted into the group requests with no questions answered will be denied

Something that is required of all volunteers and helpers at SFS is a valid Working With Children Check (wwcc). These checks are very easy to apply for, and free for volunteers. We love having parent helpers with all of our Parents and Friends events, and the children love seeing their parents at school.

You can go here https://www.workingwithchildren.vic.gov.au/individuals/applicants/how-to-apply to apply.

You will need to fill in your details (we suggest adding St Francis de Sales Primary School in as your volunteer location), supply them with proof of ID and then verify these in person at an Australia Post outlet. At the post office they will take your photo for your WWCC card. Until your card arrives you will be given a slip from the post office that can be used.

Once you have your WWCC complete please ensure you lodge the details with the school through admin@sfslynbrook.catholic.edu.au
