Information For Parents

FEES & LEVIES 2023

Please note all School Fee statements for 2023 have been sent home with your child.

The Student Levy of $341.00 and the Excursion Levy of $75.00 per student are now due and payable.  If you have not yet paid this amount, please do so this week.

The total 2023 Family Fee is $1957.00 of which $652.35 is due and payable by 24th March 2023.  A further payment of $652.35 is due in Term 2 and the balance of $652.35 is due in Term 3.

The concessional fee is fixed annually by Melbourne Archdiocese Catholic Schools (MACS). Approved applicants will be charged only the annual concessional fee, which will cover all standard school fees and levies. If the applicant has become eligible under one of the eligibility criteria throughout the year, a pro-rata concession will be granted. In this instance, standard school fees and levies will be incurred for the portion of the year whereby the applicant was not eligible. To be eligible for the concession, the family must agree to either a direct debit or Centrepay deduction arrangement. Please complete the attached Concessional Fee Application Form and the CSEF Application Form and return with a copy of your relevant Health Care Card.

Please note that we can implement a direct debit payment system for fees.  If you would like to take up this offer, please contact the office.

If you have any questions regarding school fees, please contact Wendy Ziino in the office.

CSEF

Please see the attached Flyer if you hold a current Health Care Card.  You may be eligible for the Camps, Sports & Excursions Fund (CSEF).

If you believe that you are entitled to this benefit, please contact the school office for the relevant form ASAP.  If you are an existing family who already receives this payment and you have a new child commencing school, please contact the office for a form.

The wellbeing and safety of all children in our school is something that we take very seriously.

We are often asked if we are a nut free school. The answer can be quite complex.  We encourage a ‘nut free’ environment to cater for and assist children with allergies.  We can not make this mandatory but will suggest  parents refrain from providing students with spreads such as, peanut butter, nutella etc.

We do however, have several Nut Free classrooms throughout the school.  This is in place because there are students in that class with severe allergies.

The following classes are a Nut Free/ Food Allergy Aware Zones

Thank you for your consideration and support with this matter.

Medication

Medication of any kind, sent to school with a student, must be handed in at the office along with a written permission note providing details of its use.

Children are not permitted to administer their own medication. Medication must be  administered with adult supervision and written parental permission.

Asthma Management Plan

Parents of students who are known to be asthmatic; be it  occasional or regular, are asked to provide the school with an Asthma Management Plan and their own named personal medication.

Students should have their medication with them in the classroom.

Do we have the most up to date Action Plan for your child?

If your child has an action plan and there have been recent updates or changes, you need to bring an updated copy to the front office.

If your child has a new diagnosis with an Action Plan for Asthma, Anaphylaxis or any allergies you need to supply a copy to the office as soon as possible.

This is the only medication that students can self-administer.
