Important information regarding term three fees

The Victorian State Government has announced this week that they will be part funding term three fees for four year old kindergarten. The funding will reduce the costs to families and will support services by providing $230 per child for each fee paying enrolment.  Term three four year old invoices will reflect this subsidy and be issued in the next week.  If your account is in credit due to the roll over of Term 2 fee payment we will be in contact over the next week to outline your options regarding refunds or further deferment.

"Sessional kindergarten programs remain free for eligible children through the Kindergarten Fee Subsidy. This includes children whose families identify as Aboriginal, hold a Commonwealth Health Care Card and other concession cards, or hold a refugee or asylum seeker visa." Therefore if you have recently acquired a concession card due to changed circumstances please contact Moira at kinderadmin@oakleighps.vic.edu.au.

We are very happy to see the state government acknowledging that for many families Covid-19 has had a significant impact on their working and financial commitments. We are also happy to see the importance of early childhood education being recognised and supported at this time.
