Final Folio Submission

2022 has been a wondrous release of creativity, skill and technical prowess for the two Year 12 Studio Art classes. The students have extended themselves and their artworks to put together a piece de resistance, a tour de force.

Each student came up with a theme at the beginning of the year in Unit 3 and wrote up an exploration proposal which outlined their creative process, influences and aesthetic goals. They then went ahead and explored a number of different ideas and technical explorations to come up with potential directions. 

In Unit 4 they refined selected directions and documented their creative process to resolve and complete their final pieces. This whole process takes a good deal of time management, parental support, and a fair bit of themselves and their perspectives on the world. Communication in this way takes honesty, emotional rawness and a good deal of commitment and drive. They should all be congratulated for what they have achieved and be applauded for their results.
