ACC Sport & House News
WELCOME BACK
School starts and so does Sport! We have a very busy Term 1 calendar and it all kicks off next Wednesday with Round 2 of Senior ACC Sport. Sport did not stop over the holidays with Oblate Cricket and the Nationals Volleyball Championships on the Gold Coast. Both were very successful events that involved many staff and students. There will be a more detailed report in the weeks to come.
HOUSE ATHLETICS – FRIDAY 7TH FEBRUARY – KNOX ATHLETICS TRACK
The tradition continues and Mazenod will hold its full college athletics event Friday, 7th February at the Knox Athletics Track, Bunjil Way. It is a full day event for the entire college and staff. Students will attend the college as normal in the morning and buses will transport students to and from the track. The college sports uniform can be worn on the day. More information will be provided during the week to students. There will be plenty of opportunities for students to participate in all the track and field events as we try to find our Year Level Champions and Champion House for 2020.
ACC SPORT – ROUND 1 FIXTURE
Our senior teams will compete in the ACC Competition in Term 1. Our Senior Volleyball Team is going for its 20th title in a row, so we will follow their progress over the term closely. Sport kicks off for all Year levels this coming week .
