Creative Printing and Fast Running!
3D Printing Arrives at Larnook
Miss Fish recently organised to borrow two 3D printers for Term Two. They have been set up in the Library and are very busily printing a variety of creations.
The children go online and select a design to print, then this is transferred to a USB and plugged into the printer. The construction can take several hours. The next step will be to design their own.
The children are all very excited to have this opportunity. Thanks, Miss Fish!
Cross Country Results
The District Cross Country was held in the first week of term at Caniaba. For a small school we had outstanding results.
Mahni and Lilly came first in their age groups. Marshall, Coby and Kyesha all came 4th in their age groups.
This is a fantastic effort and we are all very proud of them. The older three students will now progress to the Zone Cross Country that will be held at Casino on Friday, 27th May. We wish them all the best for their races.
Thank you to all the parents who supported the Cross Country at Caniaba by driving their children to the event. Well done to all participants for having a go!
Waffle Day
The Student Representative Council (SRC) is holding a Waffle Day on Wednesday, the 18th of June. Waffles and ice cream will be available for $3.
We will be donating $250 to the Lismore Library, who will purchase new books from The Book Warehouse. This way we help two flood victims in one donation.
We hope to have a Library representative come out to school so we can present the voucher to them.
Thank you for your support of these SRC events.
