Athletics Carnival

Our College Athletics Carnival was held on Friday. The weather was relatively kind to us this year and participation and school spirit was great on the day.  A full report will be given in next fortnight's newsletter. Until then, a few photos to give you a feel for the day.

Cross Country Champions

The O’Connor cross country age champions were announced at assembly today. Extra congratulations to the students who ran at Dio last week and achieved age champion in their divisions - Hannah Friedman, John Harris and Tom Bible. They and 14 other students have qualified for CCC in Sydney next month.

The O’Connor age champions are:

Bill Turner Cup

Last week our girls u15's played ASC in the second round of the Bill Turner Trophy. The girls played well in the first half but ASC ran away with the game in the second half winning comfortably.

Year 9 student Dustin Hone, who represents the Guyra Gun Club, recently participated in the Australian Clay Target Association's Trap State Championships, followed by the Nationals, which were held in Wagga.

Dustin was a member of the Northern Zone junior team which won the State title.
