Principal's Report

Summer is here!

Arrival time

A quick reminder that our student arrival time is 8:45am.  Students are not supervised prior to this time and can access our OSHC program from 7:00am should an early drop off be required.

The entry from the north end of the school is now an option for families, with Clark St gate now open for access.  This will assist in spreading the distribution of traffic, so please consider if this is an option for you or your child.

Bikes

Unfortunately we have had a number of reports of students' bikes being tampered with and damaged whilst students are at school.

As a community, please be vigilant if you're near the area and report any suspicious activity to the office so it can be followed up.

I have committed funds to a bike compound which will be secured between 9:00am - 3:20pm daily, but this will take until next year to be installed.

Parent tours

Today, I have offered two more parent tours that have been well supported.  Thank you to everyone for their feedback and support of our new, expanded school - it is very exciting to have adults, parents and community members back on-site safely.

Graduation & Presentation evening

I am looking forward to our two key award presentation ceremonies and celebrations in our final week of school.  Graduation luncheon from 11:30am (11:00am drop off) on Monday 13th and Presentation Evening from 6:00pm (5:30pm family picnic on oval) on Wednesday 15th December.

We will finally have an opportunity to all celebrate our wonderful childrens'/students' achievements.

National Transition Day

Again, please support your child/ren to be positive about their 2022 class placements next Tuesday.  It's important we all positively promote their teachers and peers, as they head into a five week break.

I acknowledge the First Peoples of the Wathaurong, who are the traditional custodians of the land and waters on which I work and live, and pay my respects to their Elders past, present and emerging.
